Pourtant une littérale traduction de « Course » en espagnol, le mot Carrera évoque aujourd’hui beaucoup plus de choses à tous les passionnés d’automobile bien sûr, mais également de chronographes.

Véritable hommage à cette course historique : La Carrera Pannamericana qui eu lieu au Mexique à 5 reprises de 1950 à 1954 (Avant d’être annulée pour raisons de sécurité) c’est en 1964 que Jack Heuer lance ce chronographe 3647 si célèbre aujourd’hui.

Animé par un calibre Valjoux 92  qui sort de révision complète dans notre atelier, ce chronographe d’un diamètre de 36 mm arbore un totalisateur 45mn à 3H ainsi qu’une trotteuse à 9H.

Son cadran silver et ses aiguilles tritium sont en très bel état, montée sur cuir racing neuf et boucle Heuer un peu plus récente.

To all car enthusiasts of course but also to all chronographs ones, The word Carrera evokes many more things than its literal translation of the word race in spanish.

A true tribute to this historic race : The Carrera Pannamericana which took place in Mexico 5 times from 1950 to 1954 (before being canceled for security reasons) it was in 1964 that Jack Heuer launched this 3647 Carrera Chronograph .. so famous today.

Powered by a Valjoux 92 manual winding movement and wich has been fully serviced, this 36mm diameter chronograph features a 45mn counter at 3 o’clock and a small second at 9′.

Tritium Silver dial and hands are in very good condition

This Carrera comes on it’s brand new leather strap and a later Heuer buckle. Fully serviced and under a 12 month mechanical warranty.
