Même si ma préférence va majoritairement au vintage, le moderne a aussi ses avantages surtout lorsqu’il apporte sa touche d’originalité et ne se contente pas uniquement de « banales rééditions »
J’ai une véritable histoire avec l’Italie, Rome en particulier et je dois avouer que lorsque j’ai découvert ce projet sur Kickstarter il y a un peu plus d’un an… j’ai craqué pour cette montre au point de me rapprocher de l’équipe @pantheumroma et de finalement prendre part (à mon humble niveau) à ce superbe projet : rendre hommage à l’architecture romaine, en proposant une pièce à l’ADN et à l’esprit définitivement italien.
Le cadran de cette « Automatic Oculus » est directement inspiré de la voûte du Panthéon de Rome et de son ouverture circulaire, véritable chef d’œuvre d’ingénierie
Une belle équipe, avec de grandes valeurs et un projet passionnant qui va tellement plus loin que la « classique » vente de montres. L’idée d’Edoardo, Paolo et Christiano (ensuite rejoints par Fabio) est avant tout de partager leur aventure, de vous faire ressentir cette « Dolce Vita »  en vous proposant de porter une véritable « part » de Rome au poignet.
Sans bien-sûr oublier les aspects techniques, qui font aujourd’hui de cette pièce un véritable « smart choice » dans cette catégorie des micro-brands :

Because of my personal feelings and history with Roma, I could not stay away from this beautiful project initially created by Edoardo, Paolo and Christiano : three young Roman ambassadors (joined by Fabio) .
Originally thought out and designed as a tribute to the beautiful architecture of the Roof of the Pantheon with its « Oculus ». A masterpiece that you can actually admire in Rome.
A great team, with great values and a passionate project which aims much more than the « simple » « watches selling » … The idea is above all to share their adventure, by wearing a piece of Roma, an ingredient of this Italian « dolce Vita » on your wrist every day with this truly typical piece and its original design.
